Louise Hefer studied music at Creare Training Centre and the University of the Free State, in South Africa, obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Music. Filled with the passion for music at a young age she started playing piano at the age of 5 years old. She now lectures and teaches music at Creare Training Centre and functions as a leader at the church, Our Father's Home, in Bloemfontein. 

This project, Glimpses, is a compilation of songs written by Louise from her childhood until her early twenties. Produced in 2008 it is dominantly an instrumental album with a classic piano feel.
